The Challenge
Northland Power wanted to spotlight the Oneida Energy Storage Project, Canada’s largest battery energy storage facility, and communicate its significance to customers, partners and the wider renewable energy industry. The objective was to showcase the scale of the project while reinforcing Northland Power’s role in advancing the transition to cleaner, more reliable energy infrastructure.
The Approach
We combined on-location production with carefully crafted motion graphics to tell the story of the project from both a technical and human perspective. Filming on site allowed us to capture the scale of the facility and the people bringing it to life, while clean, contemporary graphics helped simplify complex concepts and create a visually engaging narrative that reflected the innovation behind the project.
The Impact
The finished film gave Northland Power a premium brand asset that could be shared across digital channels to showcase one of its most significant renewable energy projects. By balancing technical credibility with strong visual storytelling, the content helped communicate the project’s importance to both industry audiences and the wider public.
The Business Outcome
The film supported Northland Power’s wider marketing and communications efforts, generating strong engagement across its digital channels and helping reinforce its position as a leader in renewable energy innovation. The content has continued to showcase the company’s capabilities while supporting conversations around the future of sustainable energy infrastructure.
